Crete is famous for its rich history & unique Highland culture.

It still presents. That’s why we like to implement the blend of local traditions and decorations into the celebrations. This time we drew our inspiration from the Cretan wedding custom we have been told by the old man from the village Thronos. A few days before the wedding day a young Cretan bride went to the village spring to do hand washing of the linen and a shirt for a groom. It was a symbol of a woman’s commitment to take care of her man.

We decided to make an old-fashioned rustic fantasy about the bride’s morning based on this story. All the team woke up early before the sunrise. We hoped to capture the fresh morning light that lasted a very short time and then faded away. Don’t be surprised – our bride feeds goats, does laundry, makes her tea and dreams. Then the day of a wedding comes.

Our aim is to promote the idea of eco-friendly weddings in Crete. In this editorial you may see that we use the natural beauty of a place as a part of a wedding set up and decoration. Simple decor details, a bit of flowers and an amazing landscape – that’s enough to decorate your wedding celebration in Crete.
