My experience with Sveta at Crete Within Weddings was nothing short of perfect. I reached out when planning a surprise wedding vow renewal for my wife and I.I would be travelling from the US to Crete at a very specific time and Sveta was able to accommodate my requests and offer amazing thoughts to really make our day special. Sveta and her team helped us have our dream wedding at Biolea Astrikas Estate in Crete. She helped us pick our venue, arrange the detail and manage our budget. She did a great job taking as much of the stress out of the process as possible, especially considering the distance (we're based in London)!
Her team of decorators were great, understanding our vision so well that it turned an already beautiful venue into something even more special. We had some worry about the weather on the day but Sveta and her team handled the setup well due to careful planning.

I first met Sveta on the beach in Plakias, a sentimental place for my family, and told her about the intimate wedding I wanted with just my family. She said "I've already planned your wedding in my head." Sveta's years of experience are evident in how easy my own experience as a bride was in the lead up to and on my wedding day. She managed the vendors (my Greek is limited so this was very welcome!), had beautiful touches I would never have thought of and problem solved on the day as the famous Plakias wind threatened to blow us all away! I am so thankful we found dear Sveta. My (now) husband and I had already booked a holiday to Crete and decided we wanted to have a private, relaxed wedding ceremony with our three children. I contacted several companies via e-mail, but felt reassured with Sveta and her vast knowledge. From her first response, I knew I wanted her to help us. Everything was perfect, within 4/5 months, we had arranged our wedding - Sveta took care of all paper work, a photographer, ceremony booking and booked us a beautiful restaurant by the beach for after, much to our relief! She added extra special, personal touches, to ensure our children felt included too. Ireally can’t recommend and thank Sveta enough, for all she did for us! An absolutely lovely lady.

My wife and I are both avid hikers and adventurers. Our love of nature and travel are things we share and hold dear. They have played an important part in our relationship and when it came to our "wedding" we were looking to do something that showcased this to our friends and family. When we met Sveta and found out that she too was an avid hiker and adventurer, we knew then that this could be our person! When we explained that we didn't want a traditional sit-down wedding and wanted something more of an adventure, Sveta did not flinch and was excited for the upcoming task. In the end, everything was just absolutely perfect and Sveta played a major role in making our dreams a reality on Crete. We are forever grateful and thankful to now call her a friend that we look forward to visiting again soon on Crete when we return. I can't recommend a better local person to take care of your wedding. She knew all the great spots (from our ceremony location on top of a Minoan mountain top, our post-ceremony dinner at Aravanes, and our reception party the following day at Cavo) and she had the right vendors to make it all happen (and all the food vendors came up with amazing custom menus to meet our dietary restrictions). We loved the photographers she recommended and her officiant Lala was wonderful too!

Last year Sveta organized for us the most intimate yet beautiful ceremony in beautiful Aravanes place. My husband's grandparents live in Greece and because we wanted to share this beautiful moment with them, we decided to make our wedding here. Sveta is the coolest! She is very careful and looking for a details person. We spoke like good friends and our communication was very easygoing - I could ask her any question without any doubts. It’s not very easy to handle a nervous bride such as myself (because I wanted everything to be perfect) but Sveta had a lot of patience. And I'm more than grateful!! She offered us different options and never pushed our decisions. On the day of the wedding, she and her team also manage all the things to be done at the right time. Special thanks to all the vendors she offered us! I highly recommend her as a planner on Crete. Many kisses and hugs to Eleftheria and Zacharoula - they become our Cretan family as well!

The wedding day was completely stress-free for us. We didn't have to worry about anything and could rely on everything running smoothly. Even when the weather didn't cooperate and we had to change the plans at short notice, everything went smoothly thanks to Sveta.
