The Sandy Beach elopement and dinner for Azadeh and Navid

“My vision was to have a stress free, simple ceremony with just the four of us that was intimate and… on a beach. We live in Toronto, and I miss sand and the sun a lot.  Navid and I have been married 4 years. I don’t remember our wedding very well. There were so many family members, friends and it was more like a social event to me. This time our only guests are my beloved sister and her boyfriend. ” – Azadeh explained me her idea. “We want to celebrate our 4 th family anniversary and make this day special.”

I do love the format of elopement. It’s nice, it’s personalized, it’s for those who like surprise each other and know to value small moments of life. So being wedding planner in Crete, I said yes.

The couple chose for a holiday stay the La Mer Resort&SPA (adults only). After few WA calls we decided on  making a ceremony and a dinner at the long sandy beach nearby. It’s the longest sandy beach in Europe, they say. I like it because it has easy access and dramatic waves.

There is so something utterly perfect about finding a hollowed out beach cave to wrap around you and your guests as you exchange vows with only the tunes of the tides whispering in the background. Here you may find Azy and Navid review.

Warming greetings from Crete!
