A Love Story Rooted in Greece
Sandra and Leonidas, a romantic couple from New York, chose to celebrate their wedding with their closest friends and family in Crete. With Leonidas’ Greek heritage, it was important for him to honour his roots by celebrating on the land of his ancestors.
Together, they created one of the most unique and imaginative weddings we’ve ever had the pleasure of planning in a beautiful Dourakis Winery in Chania region n Crete.
A Wedding Like No Other
We absolutely loved the bold and bright colour palette Sandra and Leonidas chose for their celebration. It struck the perfect balance—minimalistic yet eye-catching, effortlessly standing out and leaving a lasting impression.
Every detail of this wedding was meticulously crafted. From floral compositions that perfectly complemented the mainly edible décor to the lively atmosphere created by their guests, everything was designed to enhance the celebration. The evening featured:
A delicious dinner with carefully curated menus
Thoughtfully handpicked goodie bags for each guest
Multiple game stations, enjoyed throughout the event
A cigar station and more games, keeping guests entertained
A bouncy castle for endless fun
The traditional plate-breaking ritual
A tattoo corner, initially planned for a few hours but lasting the entire celebration
Signature cocktails and, of course, dancing—so much dancing!
Every element of this wedding radiated authenticity and joy. You can see from the photos that this was a celebration straight from the heart—not just for the couple, but for every guest in attendance.
