We feel very lucky to meet this beautiful couple from St. Petersburg. Nina was so gentle and womanish, Andrey seemed to be extremely serious. He took care about every detail. By the moment of the wedding they have been together almost for 10 years and they had two kids, two lovely boys. We should find the right format for the wedding with kids.

As the most of the couples who chose to be married in Crete, Nina and Andrey have visited our island few times before. They were searching for a special place to celebrate their wedding union. “Italy or Crete,” – said Andrey. – “And we chose the wedding in Crete, because the atmoshere of the island… Every time we come here, we feel like we came back home.” Quite a lot of couples witness they have the same feeling.

It was not easy to agree on the wedding location. Nina was like more sea theme. We asked them to try the new spot that no one had weddings before – a wonderful Amari valley!

The CWW comment: in April there are a lot of wild flowers there. The mountain peaks are covered by snow. The sky is incredibly blue. Early spring is a low season and the ideal time for the mountain wedding celebrations. It’s just beautiful!

Nina decided to start the wedding photo shooting late after the preparations. We moved to the Old city of Rethymno. Lovely place indeed.

In the wedding decoration we just emphasized the natural beauty of the place.

The ceremony was in Greek language. “We don’t understand this language, but we love how it sounds,”- Nina smiled. Of cause, in these cases we organize the simultaneous translation to the native couple’s language or to English.

The couple’s parents were absolutely happy for their kids. “We were waiting for that moment so many years,” – the Andreys’ mom said.

Nina and Andrey wanted kids to be the part of their wedding and the wedding memories. Thus we came up with the idea of the family picnic.
